STUDENT INFORMATION

1. NO SCHOOL MONDAY!
2. SCHOOL RULES – Possession of any controlled substance, being under the influence of drugs or alcohol or any other intoxicant will result in a 5 day suspension and possible expulsion recommendation.
3. ATTENDANCE COUNTS! All students that have perfect attendance for the month of September will be invited to a ½ hour dance during the school day on October 1st. To be eligible to attend the dance you must not be absent or tardy to any period during the month of September. Good luck and make sure to be on time to all your classes.
4. NEW ROTATION starts on Tuesday, Sept. 7th. All students will begin the day with period 2 and end the day with period 1.
5. BUS INFO – If you normally ride the “green” bus route, please expect delays this week and next week due to drivers being out. Sorry for the inconvenience.
6. BRAINPOP is again available to our students, parents and staff. Just go to the BrainPOP website and use the following User Name: gradias Password: fmsbulldogs. It is available daily until 6 p.m.
7. WRESTLING – If you are interested in being on the Wrestling team this year, please come to a meeting at the high school on Tuesday, Sept. 7th at 3:15 p.m. in the wrestling room. You can pick up insurance/physical forms in the FMS front office and you should take them to the meeting.
8. STUDENT PICTURES are in! If you ordered pictures during registration you may pick up your packet before or after school in the front office.

• Color Me Purple – Wednesday, 9/8 – Show off your school spirit and wear purple. The class wearing the most purple gets a prize!
• Twin Day – Wednesday, 9/15 – Pick a partner and be their twin for a day. Wear matching outfits. The class with the most twins wins a prize.
• Dance Under the Stars on Friday, 9/24 from 5:30-8 p.m. Tickets go on sales Monday, 9/20 during both lunches. Cost is $4.00 in advance, $5.00 at the door.

1. WASHINGTON D.C. INFO – There will be a parent fundraising meeting for all going students going on the trip. The meeting will take place on Wednesday, 9/1/10 in room K-1 (Ms. Cone’s room) at 5:30 p.m. If you would like to participate in any fundraising for this trip, please plan to attend. If you still want to go to Washington D.C., see Miss Beal in room K-3 for the sign up information. There are only 8 spots left. They will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Only 7th and 8th graders may attend.
