STUDENT INFORMATION

1. WASHINGTON D.C. INFO – There will be a parent fundraising meeting for all going students going on the trip. The meeting will take place on Wednesday, 9/1/10 in room K-1 (Ms. Cone’s room) at 5:30 p.m. If you would like to participate in any fundraising for this trip, please plan to attend. If you still want to go to Washington D.C., see Miss Beal in room K-3 for the sign up information. There are only 8 spots left. They will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Only 7th and 8th graders may attend.
2. SCHOOL RULES – Fighting, causing or attempting to cause physical injury to another person will result in a 3-5 day suspension and possible notification to the Sheriff’s Dept.
3. MARK YOUR CALENDARS – Monday, September 6th is a holiday. No school!

• Friendship Day – Wednesday, 9/1 – Celebrate new and old friends. Buy them a rose on Friendship Day. Roses sell for 25 cents each and can be purchased during both lunches in the Pavilion.
• Color Me Purple – Wednesday, 9/8 – Show off your school spirit and wear purple. The class with the most purple gets a prize!
• Twin Day – Wednesday, 9/15 – Pick a partner and be their twin for a day. Wear matching outfits. The class with the most twins gets a prize.
• Dance Under the Stars on Friday, 9/24 from 5:30-8 p.m. Tickets go on sales Monday, 9/20 during both lunches. Cost is $4.00 in advance, $5.00 at the door.

1. WELCOME TO ANOTHER SCHOOL YEAR! You are welcome to come to our school any time. Please be sure to sign in at the front office and get a visitors pass before going on campus.

WEBSITE INFO: Our Calendar of Events is posted at the Fillmore Unified School District Website at: www.fillmore.k12.ca.us Once there, you can click on Fillmore Middle School and you will find the calendar of events listed in the upper left corner. You will also find a cafeteria menu and staff email access.
