HELP WANTED
Help Wanted – Community Services Officer – Starting Salary 19.57 hr. This is a part-time position, approximately 20 hrs. per week in the City of Fillmore’s Community Services Department. The position’s primary function is to perform a wide variety of police programs and service functions within the North Fillmore Storefront with responsibility for the care, operation, and maintenance of the facility including related equipment. Duties may include coordinating various programs such as Migrant, Adult, After School educational programs, Fillmore/Piru Boys and Girls programs, abusive relationships/child abuse programs, Legal Aid Services programs, juvenile work alternative programs, neighborhood watch programs, etc. Minimum qualifications: Education equivalent to graduation from high school or GED certificate. Must be 21 years of age at time of appointment. A Valid California Class “C” driver’s license is required. Ability to operate computer equipment and good written and verbal communication skills are required. Must be bilingual in Spanish and English.
