STUDENT INFORMATION

1. TOMORROW, Wednesday 8/25 will be our first late start Wednesday. The bell rings at 8:55 a.m. and you need to be in your seat by 9:00 a.m.
2. SCHOOL RULES – Please do not walk through the parking lot before or after school. Please stay on the sidewalks and watch for cars.
3. BRIDGES after school program is accepting applications for all middle school students. Applications can be picked up in the office or in room
D-1.
4. WASHINGTON D.C. – If you still want to go to Washington D.C., see Miss Beal in room K-3 for the sign up information. There are only 12 spots left. They will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Only 7th and 8th graders may attend.
5. SHAVE IT VAN – Starting Wednesday and every Wednesday this quarter the Shave It van will be here selling shaved ice for $3.00. Buy one to cool down after school and support the school’s trip to Washington D.C. Look for the van on the far side of the parking lot, next to the 6th grade playing fields. No walking in the parking lot to get to the van. You may only cross the parking lot across from the van and line up in the grass. Thanks!
6. BUS INFORMATION – If you haven’t turned in your signed form and received a sticker
on your ID card, please do so right away. Turn the form in at the front office.

PARENT INFORMATION

1. WELCOME TO ANOTHER SCHOOL YEAR! You are welcome to come to our school any time. Please be sure to sign in at the front office and get a visitors pass before going on campus.
2. PARENT MEET AND GREETS will take place again this year on the last Friday of each month (starting 9/24/10) from 7:30-8:30 a.m. This is an opportunity to come and spend time with Administrators and teachers and hear about what is happening at Fillmore Middle School.
