STUDENT INFORMATION

1. OUR STATE TESTING takes place from Tuesday, May 4th until Friday, May 7th. Students should not bring anything to school except an AR book. Please leave all backpacks, textbooks, and electronic devices at home during testing.
2. SCHOOL RULES – Be on time to each class, every day!
3. NEW ROTATION STARTS on Monday, May 3rd. All students will begin the day with period 6 and end the day with period 7.
4. MINIMUM DAYS REMINDER – Next week we will be on minimum day schedule Tuesday, May 4th through Friday, May 7th. We will be administering state testing and students will be released at 12:15 p.m. each of those days.
5. BUS INFO/MINIMUM DAYS – Next week during testing days (May 4-7) busses will pick up students at 12:45 p.m. No FMS students will be allowed to ride on the high school busses.
6. SPRIRT DAYS – April 27-30 – All clothing must comply with FMS dress code policy

This intensive summer program will help prepare you for high school mathematics, academic success, and successful admission to college. This is also a great opportunity to earn 5 high school credits. 8. FLASHES PEP SQUAD – Anyone interested in trying out for the Flashes Pep Squad may pick up a permission slip at the high school student store. Tryout practice will start April 19th-April 22nd from 3:15-5:15 and tryouts will be held on Friday, April 23rd. You must have a permission slip in order to participate in tryouts. Parent meeting will be held April 19th at 6:30 in the high school gym. If you have any questions, please call Ms. Tafoya at the high school.

STUDENT INFORMATION

1. UNSUNG HEROES MUSIC FESTIVAL takes place this Saturday, April 17th from 11:00-5:00 p.m. at the Fillmore Towne Theater. Tickets are $10.00 and will be available at the door and the proceeds will benefit Fillmore High School Band Boosters and AVID program and the One Step Center.
2. SCHOOL RULES – Possession of unauthorized devices such as cell phones, I-Pods, cameras, etc. will result in the item being confiscated and your parent will have to pick it up.
3. 8th GRADE STUDENTS – Are you interested in earning high school credits? Attend a lunch meeting TODAY in room D-3 to learn about the Summer Academic Advancement Academy held at Fillmore High School. Space is limited.
4. EARTH DAY IS EVERY DAY! Never release helium balloons into the air. They can end up in the ocean and can kill ocean animals. Tori Campos & Sabrina Arana
