2. SCHOOL RULES – Possession of firecrackers or other explosive devices will result in a 5-day suspension, citation from the sheriff’s department, and possible expulsion. Please do not bring firecrackers to FMS.

In an effort to build on this belief and ensure academic success for all students, we are implementing Zangle Parent Connection. The Parent Connection application provides parents secured internet access to a wide array of their children’s school data. Parents will have immediate access to information such as district, school and classroom news, student demographics, student schedules, attendance activity, class assignments, report cards and progress reports, health and immunizations, and standardized testing results. If you are interested in accessing Zangle Parent Connect you may do so by downloading the forms from the school website (www.fillmore.k12.ca.us) or pick them up from the school secretary. Once the forms are completed and returned to the school secretary, a password and pin will be issued to you. We are implementing this program initially at our secondary schools with the intention of incorporating the elementary sites in the near future. Please contact the high school or middle school if you have any questions.

1. SPELLING BEE – Our spelling bee for 7th and 8th graders will take place TODAY at 3:00 p.m. Please check in with Mrs. Fitzgerald if you plan to participate. Our school-wide spelling bee will take place on Wednesday, 1/12/11. Listen for more details in the bulletin.

4. REWARD DANCE TODAY starting at 11:45 a.m. Your teachers will have a list of students who will be allowed to attend the dance.

1. FRIDAY, Dec. 17th is a minimum day. Students will be released at 12:15 p.m. Winter break runs through Monday, January 3, 2011. Students return to school on Tuesday, January 4th.
2. SCHOOL RULES – Fighting or encouraging a fight will result in a 3-5 day suspension.
3. REWARD DANCE FRIDAY, Dec. 17th we will have a reward dance for any students who have not been tardy in the month of December. The Reward Dance will take place from 11:45-12:15. Your teachers will have a list of students who will be allowed to attend the dance.
