I noticed the new website early Sunday morning. Lot's of content and a fresh look to get use to. The large format picture are nice. I was drawn to the photo of the young Raider Cheerleaders as my daughter was in the photo. Brought back great memories. Most in the girls in that photo graduated from High School almost three weeks ago. As for my daughter she continue to cheer, now for Ventura College, along with several other girls from Fillmore.
So to the Gazette "attaboy" on the upgrade. I hope the community enjoys it.

Congratulations to the class of 2008. It's too bad so many of you gave so little respect to your valedictorian during his speech. Lets hope the next graduating class has a little more class than you.

Who do you think are the best city council candidates for the upcoming election?

I recently had the pleasure of meeting our police chief Tim Hagel. I can't tell you enough how impressed i was with his kindness and enthusiasm for just about anything. I'd just like to thank John Pressey and all the members of the VFW for their service and continued support to the military. Keep up the good work.

I'm sure its expensive; but It sure would be nice to see a yellow line down the middle of some of our more narrow streets. At least a couple times a week my life is threatened by the person taking his or her half of the road out of the middle. How much does it cost to put a line down the middle of the road?
