Susan Carol Sanchez, 71 of Fillmore, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2025. She was born on January 3, 1954, to Mike B. Sanchez and Dorothy Sanchez, and was a lifelong resident of Fillmore. She graduated from Fillmore High in 1972, worked at Carter West and FUSD as a lovable lunch lady. Her pride and joy were her son Michael and her grandson’s Ayden and Dominic; she would speak of them often to anyone and everyone. Susan is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Michael and Christina Sanchez, her honorary daughter Dorothy Sanchez, grandson’s Ayden Sanchez and Dominic Sanchez, sisters Yvonne Gutierrez and Sharon Sanchez, brother Richard Sanchez and numerous nieces and nephews. She is proceeded in death by her parents and her brother Walter Sanchez. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
