Varsity Flashes Fall Short Against Schurr 10-56 in CIF Playoffs
This past Friday, Fillmore High School Varsity played Round 1 of the CIF Division 12 playoffs against Schurr High School. Fillmore fought hard and it showed after the game when a couple of key players were given awards. Varsity fell short, ending the season with a tough loss to Schurr, with a final score of FHS = 10 to SHS = 56. Christian Cisneros was 10 of 27 for 121 yards and 1 Touchdown. George Tarango had 5 catches for 75 yards and a Touchdown catch. Kevin Galvan had 9 tackles and 6 pancake blocks on offense.
