(above) Alex and his buddy Olivia. Team Fillmore participated in the Ventura County Special Olympics School Games 2014 on Saturday, May 17. Alongside their high school buddies, 37 athletes from Fillmore Unified School District competed against other districts across the county in track and field events. The events included softball/tennis ball throw and drop, standing long jump, the 25/50/100 meter races and the wheelchair races. Go team Fillmore!
