Piru Youth Sports has begun its 2024 Baseball Season. Piru Youth Sports was founded in 2009 with a group of volunteers who worked to bring youth activities to the town. It’s an all-volunteer program and survives on donations, which makes it affordable for the community youth, as parents don’t have to choose which child to sign-up. Current board members are Lorena Elias (secretary), Mariana Mejia (Board Member) Jimmy Sanchez (Treasurer), Miguel Hernandez (Board Member), Carmen Hernandez (Vice President) and Mirna Magaña-Valencia (President).
