Fillmore High School Girls Soccer hosted the visiting Santa Clara Saints on Thursday, January 23, 2014. Lady Flashes went up early with two goals by Ryan Nunez. One of the goals was assisted by Grace Topete. The Saints came out strong in the second half and a goal in the 50th minute to make the score 2-1. Nayeli Baez scored a goal in the 80 minute with a 30 yard shot that found its way to the back up the net. Saints scored with 1 minute remaining. The final score was 3-2 Fillmore to improve to 2-1-1 in League play.
