John Paul Galvez saks Santa Paula’s Quarterback during Friday night’s game. Alex Gaspar had 15 tackles and Derek Luna had 11 tackles. According to Coach Dollar, “The team played well, it was a game that could have gone either way. The boys should be proud of their efforts this year.”

Corey Cole #11 Quarterback for the Flashes runs the ball for a few yards. Cole was 6 of 13 passes for 142 yards and two passing touchdowns.

Brandon Pina #64 and Daniel Cruz #19 brought down Santa Paula’s runningback.

Nick Paz #21 stops Santa Paula at the line of scrimmage during Friday night’s game. Paz had 11 carries for 120 yards.

Chris De La Paz tries to gain more yardage. De La Paz had 5 catches for 135 yards and 2 touchdowns. Fillmore will not be advancing to the finals.

Junior Varsity beat Santa Paula 38-20. Above Tyler Esquivel #9 dives into the end zone. Esquivel also scored a touchdown. Edwin Baton, Val Pillado, Alex Banales, Audry Sanchez scored against Santa Paula.

Fillmore High School Marching Band performed Friday night with Santa Paula. Both bands did an exceptional job.

Fillmore High School Cheerleaders are pictured with Rico, Mambo and Chucho from Q104.7. Rico, who is from Fillmore, and Mambo from Santa Paula entertained the crowd during half-time.
