Last Friday, the Fillmore Flashes improved their record to 4-0 with a 48-0 win against La Canada high school. The Flashes completed their first back to back shutout games since 1990 and the defense was led by senior Defensive End Tyler Coert and his 5 tackles, including 1 sack. On offense, senior Quarterback Jared Schieferle passed for 295 yards and tied the school record with 5 passing Touchdowns, including 3 of them to senior receiver Ryan Gonzalez. Senior Running Back Bryce Nunez added 114 yards on the ground and 2 touchdowns. Next week the Flashes are away at 7pm vs. Temple City High School. [Courtesy Coach Sean Miller]
