FHS Swim Team participated in the Viking Relay meet on Friday, March 10 at Hueneme High School. Alone with Fillmore, there were teams from Santa Paula, Channel Island, Carpinteria, St. Bonaventure and Hueneme. JV Girls came in first place overall with 34 points. JV Boys placed 5th with 10 points. Varsity Girls tied for 1st with Hueneme with 95 points. Varsity Boys were 4th with 58 points. In the overall combined team scoring FHS Swim team placed second. “This was a good experience for our swimmers. I think they all had fun!” stated Coach Cindy Blatt.
