Submitted by Coach Sean Miller: The Fillmore Flashes finished their 2018 season by beating Malibu High School 53-18, to improve their overall record to 7-3. Junior defensive back Paget Ekelund had an interception on defense and 62 yards on 3 catches on offense. Trevor Scott also played well on defense with a sack and recorded another blocked punt. On offense, Jake Saviers completed 12 of 17 passes for 142 yards and had 3 rushing TDs. Sophomore running back Justice Rodriguez closed out the game by rushing for 153 yards and 2 touchdowns on only 3 carries. The Flashes and their coaching staff would like to thank the Fillmore community for their amazing support of the program this season. We can't wait to see what the future holds for Fillmore Football!
