Fillmore Little League has officially opened as of Saturday, March 9, 2024. There was a full house in attendance for not only the opening pitch but for the league in general. This year they had a record breaking 30 teams and 340 children playing. The stands were filled with excited spectators as Fillmore’s Little Leaguers took to the field with high hopes for the season. Raffle tickets were pulled with great prizes for the participants. Volunteers for the program worked hard getting the season going, the day organized, the fields prepped, the managers and coaches working with the kids and umpires and making sure we can all visit the concession stand. Everyone was working together for the love of the game and our children. Please consider finding a passion and lend a hand, our community works together. If you want to watch a good show, come on down, these kids will put one on for you! Their little hearts play so hard, you can’t help but smile.
