Fillmore High Swim Team Begins 2022 Season

On March 2nd, FHS swimmers traveled to Malibu for their first competition in 2022. Matthew Tello swim to PB times and CIF consideration times in the 200 yd. Freestyle (2:18.92) and the 500 yd. Freestyle (6:34.05).

The swimmers then traveled on March 4th to Hueneme H.S. for the Raiders Relay meet hosted by Channel Islands H.S. Six high school swim team were present. Fillmore placed third behind Carpinteria and Pacificia.

Fillmore hosted it’s first home meet of the season on March 9th against Nordhoff. Matthew Tello swam to a CIF consideration time in the 100 yd. Freestyle (1:00.01). The Varsity boys achieved a CIF consideration time in the 200 yd. Freestyle Relay (2:00.32) with Tello, Tyler Gray, Joaquin Holladay and Omar Aguilar. The same four swimmers achieved a CIF consideration time in the 400 yd. Freestyle Relay (4:42.33).
