FGS opening ceremonies took place Saturday March 8th 2014 to kick off the 2014 season, FGS recognized the 10U Western National Champions with a banner that will be displayed at the field. The guest speaker was Team USA #2 Sam Fischer who motivated all the player to work hard and follow their dreams as she is an example of just that. Sam Fischer threw the first pitch to the western national team catcher Isabella Ayala to commence the 2014 season.
