Fillmore Flashes JV & Varsity Football
Submitted by Head Coach Sean Miller. The Fillmore Flashes football team improved their record to 3-1 last Friday night with a win over La Canada 32-0. Junior running back Bryce Nunez ran for over one hundred yards for the third time in four games with 107 yards and two touchdowns. The Flashes’ defense had their first shutout of the year and senior Abe Santa Rosa and junior David Tovar led the way with 10 and 13 total tackles, respectively. Junior receiver/defensive back Ricky Calderon played well on both sides of the ball and also contributed with a punt return for a touchdown.
