On Saturday, November the 22, the Moorpark College men’s cross-country team competed in the California Community College Athletic Association State Meet (3C2A) at Woodward Park in Fresno, California. The harriers ran over a 4-mile course mostly on dirt, some pavement, and with some challenging hills. Twenty-four teams toed the line, sixteen from Southern California, and eight from Northern California.
Logan Torres a Buena graduate claimed 72 place in 21:37.0, and Angel Garcia, a Fillmore High School graduate finished 111th in 22:06.7.; Both athletes reside in Fillmore and helped the Moorpark College men’s team capture a 8th place finish at the California Community College State Championship meet.
