The 14& under Fillmore All star team played 4 tournaments on the road to the California State Games on July 11th, 2008 . The hard working athletes finished in 3rd place in three pre-qualifying tourneys, and in 4th place in the western district qualifier, and finally ending a successful season in 4th place in the Ca. State Regional Championships on July 13th , 2008 . The girls wish to express their thanks and appreciation first to their Manager , Ernie Ortiz, and Coaches, Bill Vassaur, and Bill Herrera, and lastly but most importantly to their families for all the cheering and support throughout the season.
