FHS Girls Run CIF Prelims
On Saturday, November 15, the Varsity Fillmore Girls Cross Country Team competed at the Division 4, CIF Southern Section Prelims at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, California. On Saturday, November 15th, the Fillmore Girls Varsity Cross Country Team competed at Division 4, CIF Southern Section Prelims. This meet was held on the 3-mile rain course, with run mainly on pavement at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, California.
The team was led by Camila Rodriguez, who ran a great race, finishing in 10th place in 18:45.8. Camila was followed by Melanie Flores 37th in 2029.5, Michelle Setty 53rd in 21:37.6, Marbella Arroyo Tapia 61st in 21:55.4, Melanie Martinez 68th in 22:22,6, Valeria Munoz Mendez 72nd in 22:37.0, and Andrea Gamez 94th in 25:19.7. Camila, Michelle, and Melanie Martinez ran personal best times. As a team, the Varsity Fillmore Girls Team finished in 7th place in their heat.

College Runners Run Post Season Meets
On Friday, November 14th, CSU Northridge Cross Country Teams competed on the Arcade Creek Cross Country Course in Sacramento, California. The 2025 NCAA D1 Cross Country Regionals was run over a 10-kilometer course or 6.2 miles. Camilo Torres finished 164th in 32:46.8. In the team competition CSU Northridge finished in 26th place.
