Four California United Fillmore Club Soccer teams competed in the California Cup - Premier Memorial Day Tournament at the Lancaster National Soccer Center. Only one team came home with hardware and the Championship title—the Girls 2013 Division! The 2013G went undefeated with four victories, and goalie Aalyiah Cervantez knocking out an entire tournament shutout. This young group of talent has traveled to compete in Tahoe, Phoenix, won the Oaks FC Summer Cup Tournament, in Conejo Valley last August, and the TFC League Cup Tournament in Santa Maria in March. In winning the California Cup Championship titled, they have now earned their spot to compete in either the Tampa Bay Cup in Florida on Labor Day weekend, or the Super Cup in Phoenix, Arizona, on Thanksgiving weekend.
