The Fillmore Middle School Bulldogs wrestling team traveled to Sinaloa Middle School in Simi Valley on Friday, March 27, for one of the season’s most competitive meets, squaring off against seven area programs — Anacapa, Balboa, Cabrillo, De Anza, Isbell, Nordhoff and host Sinaloa.
Suiting up for Fillmore on the day were Francisco Avila, Cayden Balades, Parker Blackshear, Kamila Cuesta, Bryan Manzo, Albert Morales, Miguel Morales, Torrey Morales, Liam Patton, Anthony Ramirez, Isaac Ramirez, Roque Rivera and Valentin Sandoval.
With the regular season now complete, the Bulldogs set their sights on the Ventura County Middle School Championships, slated for Friday, April 17, at Royal High School in Simi Valley. Action is scheduled to get underway at 2 p.m.
