3 school records broke in 57-7 Win over Santa Clara, Flashes Secure Playoffs Spot

This past Friday, Fillmore played Santa Clara High School in their Championship Game. Flashes beat Santa Clara
by 47 points, leaving the final score FHS=54 to SCHS=7. Kevin Galvan had 13 tackles this game. Christian Cisneros broke two school records, he threw for 283 yards in the game, the record was 267 yards by Nathan Ibarra set in 2007, he also threw five touchdown passes in the game, the record was four by Corey Cole set in 2010. George Tarango had 8 catches for 168 yards and also broke a school record, he has 50 receptions on the season the record was 45 by Chris De la Paz set in 2010. Fridays win secured the Flashes spot in this years CIF playoffs. This Friday October 11th Fillmore's Varsity Football team will play Schurr High school in round 1 of the CIF Division 12 playoffs. The game will begin at 7pm at Fillmore High Stadium.
