Left, 14U Fillmore Girls All Star team placed 2nd in So Cal ASA Western District state qualifier on June 21st, 2009. The 14 player team played 6 games with 2 losses to come in as the finalist in the championship game vs. Antelope Valley Tournament highlights include home runs made by players: :Amber Magana/Pitcher, Reina Magana/Rt field , Kaylee Hinklin /2nd Base, Paula Laureano/Center field . Pitching was lead by starter pitcher Amber Magana who pitched 3 games on Saturday and 2 games on Sunday. Relief pitchers Chellie Arreguin and Deanna Magana came in to finish off the battle to advance the team to the Cal State Games in San Diego , July 17th 2009 .
