Free Ventura Workshop for Assisting People with Alzheimer’s

The Ventura County Regional Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, the Coast Caregiver Resource Center and Aegis Living of Ventura are holding a free “12 Keys to Healthy Caregiving” Workshop on Saturday, April 24, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at 4964 Telegraph Road in Ventura.

This helpful workshop will be taught by Joanne Reynolds, a Caregiving Coach and the author of Search for Light: Ten Crucial Lessons for Caregivers. Caregivers who attend will learn essential keys for maintaining their own health while caring for a family member or friend. They will also find out what to add to the to-do list and what to take off while caregiving as well as simple and practical ideas for self-care while looking after someone else.
