This is first come first served. (No Appointments) Please remember to bring your copy of the 2010 tax return and your Social Security card. Other items to bring are: Your W-2 Form, if you were employed; also any Federal and State Tax forms you may receive in the mail. Gourd Wood Burning Class Wednesdays From 1:00 to 3:00 pm. Cost of the class is a $2.00 Donation per class. This is a great opportunity to see if this would be a great hobby for you, We have Gourds, paint and the tools needed to get you started. Interested? call 524-4533
The Alzheimer’s Association is offering the “The Savvy Caregive Program” for Non-Professional Caregivers (you or me, children taking care of parents or grandparents, family members taking care of a family member or friend) this will consist of 3 Thursday’s March 15th., 22nd. & 29th. From 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon. It’s an educational training program for families caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias. Non-professional caregivers will acquire skills and knowledge of dementia, handling difficult situations and managing behavior. Attendees will also learn about managing their own well being and resources available in the community to help. This is the last time this particular class will be offered at the Fillmore Senior Center.
