AARP Driver Safety Class February 6th & 9th. This 8-hour class is sponsored by AARP. The class is designed to help individuals tune up their driving skills and refresh all the rules of the road. This is especially handy if your drivers license is about to expire and you might have to take the written test again. It’s surprising how many rules we have actually forgotten and just gotten away with. The class fee is $12 for AARP member and $14 for non-members. A completed registration form is required for participation. Please pre-register for the class. Interested? call 524-4533

New Gourd Wood Burning Class will start February 14th. From 1:00 to 3:00 pm. Cost of the class is a $2.00 Donation per class. The ancients used various methods to burn designs into gourd surfaces. Some used metal spear tips heated over a flame. Others applied various acids and then held the gourd over a flame. Today all you need is a hobbyist's wood-burning pen. This is a great opportunity to see if this would be a great hobby for you; we have Gourds, paint and the tools needed to get you started. Interested? Please call us and let us know. 524-4533
