Zumba Gold Class for Seniors Wednesday’s, from 9-10 AM What is Zumba Gold® – Zumba Gold is designed for Active older adults wanting excitement and fitness as a regular part of their weekly schedule. Zumba Gold is the perfect fit. It’s a dance-fitness class that feels friendly, and most of all, fun. Walk-in’s are welcome, donation is $2.00 per class per person, Please call 524-4533

HI CAP/MEDICARE: Tuesday, September 27th. at 11:30 at the Fillmore Senior Center the Ventura County Area Agency on Aging (VCAAA) provides free and unbiased counseling to, AND ADVOCACY FOR, Medicare recipients and those who will soon be receiving Medicare. Trained volunteer counselors offer objective information and provide assistance with problems relating to Medicare, Medicare Advantage plans,& supplemental (Medigap) insurance policies, Long-term care insurance, and prescription drugs. This is a good day to come for lunch, enjoy our “Salad Bar” and have your questions answered.
The Fillmore Senior Center is planning a trip to the Chumash Casino on October 5, cost is $10 per passenger, pre-paid, non refundable. Leave from the Fillmore Senior Center at 8 am, arrive back at the Senior Center by 6:00 – 6:30 PM We need 40 passengers to guarantee the trip, passengers must be at least 21 years old. Braille Mobile will be at the Senior Center, (Rescheduled) to October 3rd.. from (9:30 AM - 12:30 PM. Braille’s Mobile Solution Van brings information about their free programs and services directly to our community. Mobile solutions provides the following: Magnification and lighting demonstrations and one-on one consultation with their low vision professionals, Adaptive products for purchase, including talking watches, writing guides and large-print calendars, No appointment is necessary but to schedule an appointment call 524-4533.
AAA Drivers Training Class: October 3rd. & 6th. This class is in two parts. Monday & Thursday from 9am to 1pm. The cost is $12 dollars for AARP Members and $14 for Non-Members. Please call 524-4533 to Sign-up and pre register. Taking the class gives you a discount on your Auto Insurance, but must be taken every 3 years.
