>The Alzheimer’s Class: “Part 2”, will be on Tuesday, June 28th. 10:00 AM “Understanding Communication & Challenging Behaviors” This class will cover communication techniques and steps to understand the causes of common behavior problems when caring for someone with memory loss. >Line Dancing starts again Wednesday, July 6 and will be every Wednesday morning from 10:30 -1130 AM. We Have a new teacher that is one of our local gals Ms. Carolyn Diaz. So come on in and have some fun.
>Internet Basics for Seniors : Presented by California Seniors Education & Research Fund. This will be a 3 week class starting on Monday July 11th., Participants must have basic computer skills, and will be learning how to use the Internet safely, How to locate local and national senior services and benefits that may be available to you. Class will be FREE, with a $10 deposit, refunded upon completion of the 3 week class. This is a great opportunity, Don’t miss out. Please call to register for the class, 524-4533
> AARP’s Driving Safety Class: “Reduce Your Auto Insurance Premium” is an 8-hour class, split into two 4 hour parts, from 9am-1pm. California law requires all auto insurers to offer a discount on premiums to qualified graduates age 50 and older. Class fee is $12 for AARP members and $14 for non-members. Certificate is good for three years. Call the Fillmore Senior Center to Register in advance 524-4533 . Next class date: Monday August 8th, 9am- 1pm
