The Bus will be leaving the Senior Center for the Chumash Casino May 11th. at 8 AM. Please be here ready to board before 8:00 AM so we can leave on time. We are looking forward to another great time and plan on arriving back at the senior Center around 6:00 – 6:30 PM If you need more information please call the Senior Center at 805-524-4533
Monday, May 16th trip to Carpenteria Beach meet here at FSC 8:00 AM and carpool. The plan is to sight see and have lunch in town. For more Information call Sue Hopkins at 524-1836
Field trip to the Reagan Library is being scheduled for Tuesday, June 14th. Library Hours are from 10 -5pm, we would car pool from the Senior Center to the Library around 9:30 am. For those who would like to have lunch, there is the Reagan’s Country Café or Ronald Reagan Pub featuring a variety of Sandwiches, hamburgers/fries, salads, soups & desserts. Watch for more information and please call 524-4533 or come in and sigh-up. If you would be interested in driving, please let us know. This will be a fun day.

The Craft Fair scheduled to be on May 20th has been rescheduled for November, to give some of our crafters more time to be creative. Cost per table is $15.00 For more information and to reserve a table, space is limited, contact “Connie Thompson” at 524-4801 or 525-2617 after 5 pm
On a side note; When I was picking up the pastries Starbucks donates to the Senior Center, they treated me to an Oatmeal. If you like Oatmeal, even if it’s not your favorite, I would like to recommend “Starbucks Perfect Oatmeal”, It is packaged nicely, each container comes with a side package of nuts and dried fruits even brown sugar & of course the spoon and napkin, all that is left to do is add hot water, wait three minutes and you’ve got a nutritious breakfast. . If you’re a banana lover you could also add sliced bananas. I ate every, every bit & it was only 390 calories total. If your one that has to eat on the run or at the office, you should try it.
