On August 25, Yane Flores, from the Food Stamp Outreach Program will be at the Fillmore Senior Center to assist Ventura County Citizens who need and may qualify for food Stamps, in filling out applications. (Note: SSI/SSP recipients do not qualify for food stamps.)

Braille Mobile Will be at the Senior Center on August 12th, from 10 am. to 1:00 pm. Also on Monday, August 16 The Braille Institute is offering a Vision Impaired Class from 10 am to 11:30 at the Fillmore Senior Center.

Support our local Movie Theater, Seniors now get $4 dollar admission. Doors open Friday, Saturday and Sunday’s at 6:30 pm, show starts at 7pm. This cute little old fashioned theater has been a landmark on Central in Fillmore for decades. It shows only 1 first run movie at a time. They usually only show a movie for 2 weeks then change it out to another first run movie.
