On August 25, Yane Flores, from the Food Stamp Outreach Program will be at the Fillmore Senior Center to assist Ventura County Citizens who need and qualify for the food Stamps, assistance in filling out applications. Eligibility is based on income, resources, and residence of household members. Bring proof of identification and utility bill. (Note: SSI/SSP recipients do not qualify for food stamps.

Braille Mobile Returns to the Senior Center on August 12th, from 10 am. to 1:00 pm. Low Vision Rehabilitation Specialist will evaluate your low vision needs and demonstrate various solutions for an independent and fulfilling life. Mobile solutions provides: one-on-one consultation with low vision professionals, adaptive products for purchase, writing guides, large print calendars, and more. Every family with a member who has a sight problem should attend this no cost service. First come first serve service, there is no need for an appointment.
