American Red Cross of Ventura County Seeks Historical Data for Upcoming “Threads of History” Event

Ventura, Calif. – Do you have a great American Red Cross story to share or a memento from the past? If so, the American Red Cross of Ventura County wants to hear from you. The American Red Cross is currently seeking out individuals throughout Ventura County who would be interested in being part of an upcoming event commemorating its 91 years – Red Cross Threads of History – a Ventura County Chapter Retrospective.

The historical event will take place in the beautiful Ventura City Hall on Monday, November 10 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will celebrate the past 91 years that the American Red Cross has been in existence in Ventura County through exhibits of vintage Red Cross clothing, photos, pins and posters.

Ventura County residents have the opportunity to be part of this event by sharing their own stories, memories and mementos. If you are interested in participating, call Stephanie Boumediene at 805-403-1477 by Tuesday, September 30. All exhibited items will be returned after the event.

The Red Cross Threads of History – a Ventura County Chapter Retrospective will be open to the public and is free of charge.
