Getting Ready for Spring, Mountain Vista Elementary School planned a garden workday. Staff and Parents volunteered their time on two Saturdays to assemble planter boxes and fill them with soil.  getting them ready for classrooms to begin planting. Mountain Vista parent volunteers, Mr. Castro, Mr. Vargas, Mrs. Aparicio, and Mr. Magana shoveling 19 cubic yards of soil to fill the planter boxes. Classrooms will have the opportunity to plant vegetables and help maintain the garden.
