There was tense anticipation as 32 students competed to earn the title of Mountain Vista School Spelling Bee Champion. Luke Myers, champion, won in the 8th round with the word “accomplice.” Micha Hartzell is runner-up. The next stage in the competition is a Region Bee in February. That winner will compete at the County level; and the County Spelling Bee Champ will continue to the national competition in Washington, D.C.
