![]() By Gazette Staff Writers — Friday, October 31st, 2025
On Wednesday, October 22, 2025, students and staff throughout the Fillmore Unified School District celebrated Unity Day. Unity Day, celebrated each October during National Bullying Prevention Month, is a day dedicated to promoting kindness, acceptance, and inclusion. It’s a nationwide effort to show support for students who have experienced bullying and to unite communities in standing against all forms of bullying. On this day, people are encouraged to wear orange—the color of unity—to send a visible message that together, we can create safe and supportive schools and communities where every student feels valued and respected.
