On March 3, 2025, Fillmore Unified School District Assistant Superintendent Isaac Huang had the joy of visiting our schools as “Thing 3” from Dr. Seuss’s world to spread the magic of reading!

Assistant Superintendent Dr. Isaac Huang said, “Seeing our students’ excited faces as we talked about the adventures waiting for them in books was truly heartwarming. A special shoutout to our Fillmore High Football team and local community members who joined us at Mountain Vista today to read stories to our students for Read Across America Week! What amazing role models showing our younger learners that reading is for everyone.”

Remember what Dr. Seuss taught us: “The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go!”

Dr. Huang said, “To all our student learners: Keep turning those pages and become the voracious readers we know you can be!”
