VCCF Board Chairman Pierre Tada congratulates Angelica Amezcua, of Fillmore and a student at Cal State, Northridge. Amezcua received an award from the Destino Scholarship Fund. Nearly 380 awards, totaling more than $1.35 million, were handed out on June 4 to 383 individuals. This year, a record 490 scholarships were awarded to local students by the Ventura County Community Foundation.
