Rosie Louise Mynatt (December 1933 – May 2025)

Rosie Louise Mynatt passed away peacefully at her home in Santa Paula on May 2, 2025, following a brief illness. Louise, as she was known to many, was born in Wichita Falls, Texas on December 23, 1933, to Claud and Fay Lemons, and was one of ten children and the last of her siblings. In 1952 she married Billy L Mynatt and they settled in Fillmore to live while raising their 4 children. She and her husband were longtime residents of Fillmore until their retirement from Thatcher’s Glass Mfg., at which time they relocated to Oklahoma and then to Kingman Arizona. Upon Bill’s death in 2011 Lou moved back to Santa Paula to be close to her children, where she enjoyed seeing her many great grandchildren, her daily walks, the Senior Center Senior exercise classes, volunteering for the Santa Paula Food banks, finding treasures while enjoying the city yard sales and tending to her beautiful flower garden.

She will be forever missed by her serving children; daughter Chris Urrea; son Eric Mynatt (wife, Dee), grandchildren (10) and great-grandchildren (23). She was preceded brothers. in death by her daughter Donna Mynatt, son Kenny Mynatt; both parents, 5 sisters and 4 brothers.

Honoring his wishes, there will be a private family ceremony at Bardsdale Cemetery, Fillmore.
