Ronald Dean Meadows (1945-2015)

Ronald Dean Meadows 70, of Fillmore, California, passed away on December 3rd in Ventura, after a lengthy illness.
Ronald, "Ron" Dean Meadows was born an only child to Emmett and Alma Frazier Meadows on May, 21st 1945 in Ventura, California. Ron was married to Linda May Aulich on November, 14th of 1969.
Ron retired from the County of Ventura.
Ron served his country from 1964-1968 in the United States Army.
Ron was known for his work ethic and his involvement in his church in his younger days. He was a Commander of the "Royal Rangers" at the Fillmore Assembly of God Church with an emphasis on God, Faith, and teamwork. Many boys attended many outings with Meadows and other commanders from surrounding areas.
He was always outdoors, and truly loved fishing with his many lifelong friends. He wanted to make our public spaces beautiful, for all to enjoy. He pioneered local recycling before it was actually recycling in the late seventies, while working for the County of Ventura.
By far, the most enjoyment Ron got was building and restoring old cars and trucks in his idle time.
Ron is survived by wife Linda, sons Daniel Meadows and John Meadows of Fillmore, brother in laws, Larry Aulich (Eva) and Bill Aulich (Carol) several nieces and nephews
