
In Loving Memory of Robert Silva (“Sheriff”) September 4th 1950 - June 4th 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Silva, affectionately known as “Sheriff,” who left us on June 4, 2025, in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Robert was a kind and generous soul, known for his big heart and unwavering willingness to help anyone in need. He brought warmth and joy to those around him and loved spending time in Las Vegas and cheering on his beloved San Francisco 49ers.
Robert shared a deeply special bond with his niece Mady. After the passing of her mother, Robert stepped in to help raise her from a young age, loving and caring for her as his own. Mady stood devotedly by his side and was a constant source of strength and support throughout his illness. He cared for her deeply and was incredibly proud of the woman she has become.
Robert is survived by his devoted wife of 36 years, Leslie Silva; his children Elaine Silva and Robert Silva Jr.; and his grandchildren Junior Villanueva, Janessa Villanueva, Christian Fierro, Isabelle Silva, Ramiah Silva, Little Robert Silva, and Isaac Silva. He is also survived by his sisters Agnes (Dennis) Alamillo and Margie Lopez; brothers Bill Silva (Charlie), Henry Silva, David Silva, Gabe Silva (Tina), and Joe Dominguez (Sylvia); his in-laws David and Chyrel Hill, his niece Madyson Bishop and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Dominguez Sr. and Margaret Dominguez; sisters Laura Rivas and Joann Silva; brothers Tony Silva Frank Silva; and Rudy Hernandez; granddaughter Nevaeh Silva; and sister-in-law Michelle Bishop.
A celebration of Robert’s life will be held on June 27th from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Piru Community Center, 802 Orchard St, Piru, CA. All who knew and loved him are welcome to join in honoring his memory.
