Richard Dailey, 90, of Oak View, California, passed away on October 5, 2026.
Richard was born on February 10, 1936, in Banning, California. He spent his life working as a mechanic, a trade that suited his ability to work with his hands and figure out how things worked.
More than anything, Richard treasured time spent with his family. Some of his happiest times were visits to the family cabin, where he could enjoy the outdoors, go fishing, spend time with people he loved. The memories made together over the years will continue to be shared by the family he leaves behind.
Richard was married to his wife, Betty Dailey, and was the father of two sons, Robert Dailey and Rich Dailey. His family grew to include his grandsons Allen, Bradley and Jeffrey; his great-grandchildren Reyna, Logan and Delilah; and the many loved ones whose lives he touched throughout his 90 years.
Richard will be remembered for the life he built, the stories he told, and the countless moments shared with those fortunate enough to call him family.
A service honoring Richard's life will be held at the Bardsdale cemetery Friday, 10/23/2026 at 11:00am.
