Voice of El Dorado
Voice of El Dorado Mobile Homeowner’s Assoc. held a meeting to update the residents of the senior park on Measure F, the park owner’s attempt to subdivide the park as a condo conversion, sell off space lots for as yet unknown, historically inflated prices, which would devalue homes to little or nothing, and all without the benefit of numerous improvements required by the City of Fillmore. In a recent mailer, the park’s owner described the measure as “The Fair Rent and Home Ownership Initiative”, however, the substantial gathering of residents on this past Sunday evening were in complete agreement with a recent HOA resident survey, with all respondents against Measure F. With a citywide vote looming on November 3rd, residents of El Dorado will soon be out in force asking Fillmore’s voters to “save our homes in El Dorado” by voting NO on Measure F. Councilwoman Gayle Washburn told the group that signatures gathered to place Measure F on the ballot were fraudulently obtained.
