Jeff Gorell to Launch Local Campaign for Congress With Kick-Off Rally and Barbeque in Thousand Oaks

State Assemblyman Jeff Gorell (R-Camarillo) will be officially filing his candidacy papers to run for Congress at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, February 26 at the Ventura County Registrar of Voters office.

After filing as an official candidate, Gorell is hosting a Campaign Kick-Off Rally and Barbeque for his many supporters throughout the 26th Congressional District at the Veterans Memorial at Conejo Creek Park North in Thousand Oaks.

Moorpark Mayor Janice Parvin will lead a host of community leaders and local residents from across the 26th Congressional District in showing their support for Jeff's candidacy. A brief speaking program will begin the event with a complimentary community barbeque to follow.
