Jeff Gorell to Launch Local Campaign for Congress With Kick-Off Rally and Barbeque in Thousand Oaks

State Assemblyman Jeff Gorell (R-Camarillo) will be officially filing his candidacy papers to run for Congress at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, February 26 at the Ventura County Registrar of Voters office. After filing as an official candidate, Gorell is hosting a Campaign Kick-Off Rally and Barbeque for his many supporters throughout the 26th Congressional District at the Veterans Memorial at Conejo Creek Park North in Thousand Oaks. WHEN: Wednesday, February 26 WHERE: Veterans Memorial Moorpark Mayor Janice Parvin will lead a host of community leaders and local residents from across the 26th Congressional District in showing their support for Jeff's candidacy. A brief speaking program will begin the event with a complimentary community barbeque to follow. "The people of Ventura County are tired of the broken promises and partisan gridlock in Washington DC," declared Gorell.
