In Florida, an atheist created a case against the upcoming Easter & Passover holy days. He hired an attorney to bring a discrimination case against Christians, Jews & observances of their holy days. The argument was....it was unfair that atheists had no such recognized day(s).
The case was brought before a judge. After listening to the passionate presentation by the lawyer, the judge banged his gavel declaring, “Case dismissed.” The lawyer immediately stood objecting to the ruling saying, “Your honor, how can you possibly dismiss this case? The Christians have Christmas, Easter & others. The Jews have Passover, Yom Kippur & Hanukkah. Yet my client and all other atheists have no such holidays.” The judge leaned forward in his chair saying, “But you do. Your client, counsel, is woefully ignorant.” The lawyer said, “Your Honor, we are unaware of any special observance or holiday for atheists.” The judge said. The calendar says April 1st is April Fools Day. Psalm 14:1 states, “The fool says in his heart, there is no God.” Thus, it is the opinion of this court, that if your client says there is no God, then he is a fool. Therefore, April 1st is his day. Court is adjourned.

I'm still belly-giggling over this one! Thanks GSW! The fast-thinking judge put this character (the atheist) right into his place. When I first began to read this article, until I got to the third sentence, I figured this was going to be a serious-to-comment-on subject, so I clicked the comment/reply box, and finished reading. Then, I thought it was a joke. Then, back You know, like the last two I posted on the Blogs & Forums division to warm up such a cool list of postings. I read on. Yup! It is appropriate what the judge did in this case. You know, this could actually happen...and it most likely DID happen. With so many people out in the world walking around with their knuckles dragging the ground, drooling from their simianac mouth, and with nothing in their heads or hearts. Those who do not believe are entitled to their own rightful opinions. Thanks, GSW...those who continue to post Biblical quotes missed out on this one! The stupid attorney who took this case, (and there are MANY STUPID ATTORNEYS), probably did not understand the reason for quieting of this case! Are there stupid attorneys in Fillmore, GSW?

A holy day for atheists not sure how much sense that makes but i can't imagine how many legal documents they had to file to get a holy day.
