Three masked suspects take over Thousand Oaks bank

Three masked men stormed into the Bank of America on Avenida De Los Arboles Wednesday evening, ordering customers and employees to the floor. Nobody was injured during the heist, and all three men fled the bank within minutes carrying off an undisclosed amount of cash. At least one of the suspects was armed with a handgun.
The suspects abandoned one vehicle behind the nearby Orchard Supply Hardware, and were seen leaving the area in a blue Ford Expedition.

The investigation is being handled by the Sheriff’s Department’s Major Crimes Unit in conjunction with the FBI.
