The caller may remain anonymous. The call is not recorded. Call Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-TIPS (8477).

The Camarillo Police Department would like to remind all citizens in the county not to ignore someone knocking at their door. They may be better served to equip themselves with a phone and, without opening the door, acknowledge the person’s presence. Additionally, we encourage residents to report any suspicious subjects in their neighborhoods and to lock all doors and windows when leaving home. It can also be beneficial to consider secondary type locks for windows and sliding glass doors. Information regarding home security may be obtained by contacting Senior Deputy Bob Maclean, 388-5130, at the Camarillo Police Department.
